Your athletic background is very impressive and your triathlon career is amazingly inspiring. Tell us a little about your story of how you found triathlon?

I found triathlon at the age of 8, at my local school. I fell in love straight away. I swam with the local club, ran with my mother and then cycled with the family. Since then I competed for inl Racing as a Tri Star all the way up to now under 23. I have been lucky enough to travel with the sport but it has had its ups and downs with an injury.

What is one of the defining moments in your athletic career that you are most fond of?

When I was youth I qualified to represent GB in the European Youth Relays. This was the first time I represented my country and I was very proud. I still have the suit hung up in my room. That first time racing for GB will always be a special moment. Hopefully, I will have more to come in the future.

Do you have any advice and words of wisdom for those who are new to triathlon or wanting to try a triathlon?

Go for it, enjoy the sport. Maybe compete with friends. You have nothing to lose. You will meet loads of great people on the way and it could change your life
