Garmin 3HR Still the King
The Garmin 3HR was released in 2016 but still has all the working functions of today's Garmin smartwatches, with a long-lasting battery, beautiful display and best of all it's affordable. With the sale price of $299 -399 CAD on Amazon and eBay it's hard not to ponder buying it. The original cost was $1200 when introduced to the market.
Just beginning your triathlon adventure can seem a little overwhelming when you begin to consider the gear. As a matter of fact, try not to get ahead of yourself. Many, athletes of yesterday would run in the most minimal runners with little or no technology.

A Look at Garmin 3HR
However, a heart rate monitor and athletic watch can be useful for functional training. Don't break the bank over it though. The Garmin 3HR seems to be the best watch for the money as it has all the bells and whistles today's watches have just without onboard music and Garmin Pay. You can get snap on third part straps for the watch if you want it so bad. Also, the Saphire Titanium comes with a metal strap as well as the classic watch strap so you are good for both dress and athletics. For a more indepth review check out DC RAinmaker.
