7x 200m Swim Endurance Test

This test is designed to assess your swim endurance capacity. The Step-Test nature of the protocol is to elicit a gradual build of fatigue. Each Stage has a long passive recovery period in which you can stretch & complete resistance band movements or other mobility exercises. 

 

The outcome of this test will help determine the trajectory of your swim training. A successful test is one where the Athlete completes each stage at the prescribed intensity with minimal deviation from the target duration.

 

In order to have the best results, it is recommended to have a friend or partner record your results. This can be completed in an alternating pattern where one athlete records while the other tests, alternating with each effort, as long as the time to complete each effort is not greater than the prescribed recovery period.
